Hi guys.
About a week ago, Dell was selling refurbished versions of their 2311H IPS monitor for as little as $140 on their Outlet webpage. Needless to say, I purchased one.
However, I am encountering a pretty big problem: Black screens simply look like crap.
On the lower right hand side of the monitor, one can easily see a burst of light that changes in intensity when I alter my viewing angle.
Thinking I simply got a lemon, I exchanged this monitor out for a new one.
Unfortunately, the replacement suffers from the exact same problem. For whatever reason, the lower right hand corner of the screen seems to exhibit an overabundance of light.
(FYI: I have also noticed that there appears to be a slight magenta hue toward some of the black areas if my viewing angle significantly changes.)
---------------
What's going on here guys?
Could this actually be a disadvantage to IPS screens? Or am I just unlucky?
