I went over to Bali for two weeks to visit my son, who teaches english there. The G1X worked wonderful for the trip.

Yes it is. I stayed at the Griya Santrain. All the beach shots were taken within about 100 yards north or south of the hotel.

Beautiful spot isn't it! I stayed at the puri santrian and walked the beach path a few times, hence why i recognised the gazebos on the break wall.

On another note, great photos!

I thought I recognised the pool bar! I stayed at the Griya Santrian in 2004, nice hotel.

Nice photos as well. Looks like the G1X did a good job.
