Black and White in Black and white

Decided to do some selective color with my black and white pit mix. I know the nose came out blurry unfortunately, but I would love some critique on the rest. Its the first B&W shot I have done in a long time.

Also pardon the noise, it was shot at ISO 3200. Quite amazing quality for that high of an ISO to me.

The nose being blurry is fine, that's not the important part of the picture. I didn't even notice until you mentioned it, and even then it doesn't bother me.

The colored eyes bother me though...

I would remove the grass next too the nose...

One more thing...the convolutions in his right ear look strange. Maybe darken that area. Would have been better if it were lowered like the left.
