I was going to send back a lens for an exchange and was wondering if anyone knew if the 30 day policy is from date it's postmarked to be returned or if it has to be to the return center within 30 days. I would assume postmarked but wanted to be sure before packaging it up and paying for shipping. I tried calling but they're closed on Saturday.

Call them as soon as they open. I've found them to be very accomodating even when things are just outside the window. They are very reasonable. I'm sure you won't have any problems if you are 30 days from the delivery date when you request your RMA. If you are have problems, Helen Oster from Adorama is a longtime member here. Look her up in the member list and get her input.

Officially the 30 days starts from the date you receive it and needs to be back with us by the 30th day. But if it's only going to be a day or 2 off, email me: Helen@adorama.com (external link) with your order number and tracking number - and an ETA at our DC
