90% of the time I shoot aperature priority but for the 10% that I shoot in manual I am always screwed up because the aperature adjustment moves to the dial on the back. Is there a way to change this so that I keep the aperature adjustment at the dial next to the shutter release and shutter speed is on the back dial?

custom controls? I have the 5D2, not 5D2 so I'm not sure, but I was able to swap them on mine.

In the 7D there is a custom function to reverse this. Not sure on the 5DII.

I just flipped through the 5D2 manual, and I couldn't find the Custom Function I had in mind. In fact, I was surprised by how little customization the 5D2 has compared to the 7D....

Did Canon add more Custom Functions when it brought out the firmware update to improve Video capability?

???

Yeah, couldn't find anything in the manual. That's why I asked here. Thought someone might know if there was a firmware upgrade/hack or Magic Lantern install to do this. It's really annoying that Canon wouldn't think to do this until the 7D and later. Was it on the early 1D series?
