Until Friday, it was most recently known as Infineon Raceway, but until a new sponsor is found, they are just calling it Sonoma Raceway. I grew up with it as Sears Point, and still call it that. Either way, it was a great weekend to see some vintage iron take to the track!

Number two might be one of my favorite shots I've seen on this website ! However Im pretty sure most were tube frames even back then.

great shots, #7 is truly a classic! Any picture of the car would be great but that guy makes it!

Thanks for all the comments guys! It was a great day, but I am kinda bummed I could only make it for qualifying and not the actual race day. It was a challenge for me to shoot, because I use a wheelchair, and this track has some serious elevation changes!

Here are a couple more old NASCAR veterans. The sound of uncorked big blocks rowing through the gears was sweet music!
