Nice shot . I wasn't even aware of it til i got up at 6am this morn and saw the moon as it was going down . I wasn't wake enough to catch this but i have seen so many that i was not excited .

I wasn't aware either. I would have gotten up earlier and tried to capture something if I was. Nice shot though. What were you using?

Thanks. I was using a t2i and 100-400L lens.This was tripod mounted, f8, 1/80, iso400 @360mm and decently cropped. Didn't even know it was 360mm until I just looked. I moved the whole thing up a hill a couple of times to keep the bird silhouetted as the moon set, and the lens must have unzoomed some.

The zoom size is ok tho cause most times images are too big or cropped too much for the event .
