I recently had an impromptu shoot at a cousins engagement. All I had was my T2i and my 50mm 1.8.
I ended up snagging some keepers.

Here are a few from the afternoon:

Mine fell apart too. I chose to get a Sigma this time. :)

I warmed them up a little in LR to get a more natural overall feel.
That might be it.
