Do you leave the Canon FA-DC58B adapter tupe on full time? When used with a circular polarizer do you have to reposition the polarizer every time you zoom (in or out)? Thanks.

Jun 05, 2012 22:29 | #2 I don't have that adapter, but I understand that it is spring loaded and moves in and out with the lens.. I would leave it on all the time unless I needed the more compact size without it.. .... Got some cameras; got some glass ..... I just need one more of each.....

LarryD, Thank you for the reply. defante confirmed that it does not rotate. I appreciate both of you taking time to answer. G3, G6, G12, T2i + kit lens & accoutrements

I asked a similar question a short time ago and one response indicated that the user left the adapter on full time. I intend to do this also. As other have already said, the adapter doesn't rotate so doesn't affect the polariser.
