Time is passing me by... it seems being in the field, teaching a beginning bird photography class & hosting a wildflower class... has kept me from posting any song bird shots this spring. So here are a few that I have managed to capture, plus a Wood Duck close up.

Magnolia Warbler

Chestnut-sided Warbler female... this little lady has two eggs in her nest as of yesterday.

They are beautiful shots, Dave. And what wonderful variety in the set. Excellent work.
By the way, Dave, I think it's so very very nice that you are teaching now. I hope those people realise how lucky they are to have you as their teacher!

Wonderful shots Dave, when these guys are down here, they're always wearing their drab winter wear. It's so nice to see them in their beautiful spring colors.

Dave, nicely captured. They're all nice but I particularly love the Magnolia Warbler.

These are just beautiful. The quality of the colors and the bokeh make them works of art as much as photographs. I love the ethereal quality of #2 & #4.

Another bar setting series Dave. It is so good to see the birds return to you. I am taken every time you post such variety at the extent of it. No wonder you have such appreciation for your ridge.

The Chestnut-sided Warbler female is such a special little shot. Maybe it is motherhood. ;)
