San Francisco Meetup. June 14th.

Cool. Four so far. And we still have a week to go.

Okay Boys and Girls. It's only two days away.

When we meet at the Valencourt Fountain at 7:45pm, you can't miss me.
I'm 6'4" and weigh 300 pounds (yeah, I wish I was joking).
I'll be carrying a black camera backpack, with a tripod bag hanging under it.
If you see me walking with it, the tripod bag swings forward and back, hitting me in the back of the legs.

I'll also be carrying a 5DMkIII with a black POTN neckstrap on it.

If its a warm enough evening, you'll be able to see my "Grumpy" (as in Disney) softball jersey.

Anybody else wanna join in on the fun?

Hmmm I have yet to join in on any meetups to date due to lack of time and energy , but I have a bit of both right now so I may be in!

Well, it looks like the HVAC project is going to take another couple of hours, so I'm out.

Me too, but with the 100+ temps forecast for the weekend, getting the A/C running is priority #1.

Nah. I'll be at Lake Camanche with my boat this weekend. Get too hot, just jump in the lake.

I'd like to thank everyone who made it out there last night.
Even if I did have to drag one of you out of your house, kicking and screaming because you couldn't find your tripod, Lowell.

(This is where I start to act like *******s, piizzle).

Actually, last night was kind of odd.
Unbeknownst to me, the major part of the fire dancing group was working on a choreographed number as an audition for performing at Burning Man.
One of the rules for the taping of that audition, was there is to be no flash photography during that taping.
So they went off in one corner to do their thing, which took over an hour.

And of course, it was the better of the folks.

Oh well, there will be other outings.

That was definitely a fun night. I didn't think the POI group was gonna be that big. That was a bummer that the other group was doing their own thing.

I had plans of editing tonight, but after a full day at work, and then having to come home and get my boat ready for a day on the lake tomorrow, editing is going to have to wait.

But I'm crazy enough to bring my camera gear on my boat.
