The system is just too expensive and there are a few videos and articles on them. But they just don't seem to answer some of my questions.

I check out my local homedepot and lowes. The T12 just doesn't push enough output compare to the T8, but the T5 are really bright and seem to be a nicer white. But the T5 are just more expensive. Has anybody attempt this project yet? What result did you get?

BTW, I was inspired my Peter Hurley.

I saw that video already, but I wasn't sure I'd those are T12 or T8 fluorescent lights. Also I believe the T12 tends to flicker more.

Yep. I also saw those video too. He just doesn't explain about the new T5 lighting either. Oh well I'll start building one soon.
