I'm heading to France and want to take my Powershot S90. I have an adapter for the European outlets, but do I also need a converter to step the 220 down to 110? Is there a good source for these?
Thank you.

Well, you cant be too sure... If the labels says 110v, I wouldnt connect it to a 220 source. 50D + 17-55 | s100 | flickr

Any device that says "100-240V 50-60 Hz" will do fine anywhere in the world there's mains power. Jon

All that is generally required is an adaptor for socket type. although that is true, it never hurts to check. 50D + 17-55 | s100 | flickr
