And to touch on the boring aspect, Maybe if you were a little lower and more level while shooting the cars (i'm guessing you were in grand stands) also maybe try to get a little more motion blur by dropping the shutter speed a step or two. -Tom

I didnt go into the stand at all its just the lay of the land at brands very undulating. when you get closer to driver level you cant focus through the fence as the track is so close. I have been messing with slower shutter speeds was taking soom at 1/40th sec just the majority of the slower ones are a bit shacky :-S so I think ill need my monopod next time. Thanks for the feedback though. My gear: Canon 5D mkIII, Canon 7D mkII, Canon 1.4x mkIII Teleconverter, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L, Canon EF 135mm f/2 L, Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8, Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art

A few you could possibly just use a little more cropping on than others but you have a bunch of solid shots there. But don't get discouraged if you have a ton of blurry pictures cause I have a season pass to my local track (new jersey motorsports park) and after a day of shorting I may only Come home with 5 good track shots. Also a monopod may not be a bad idea. I have used one a number of times and the results vary depending on location but it could help! Good luck! -Tom

I seem to get about 10% out of all the shots I take that are worth keeping.
