Just FYI, the Canon rebates supposedly ended June 2nd, or at least that's what the fine print says in an issue of shutterbug or whatever it is called that I just picked up.

I'd hold off on the macro for now to see if you would really use, the FF sensor is great for macro with normal lenses when you can get close or you can crop the image
