5d iii not on me now, but i have my af back button set. do i need to hold the af back button to keep the IS engaged or does half pressing the shutter engage IS? would like to focus, let go of AF but have is engaged with the half shutter press

Jun 06, 2012 15:19 | #3 On My 5DIII, I have the custom function set so the shutter does metering only, and the back AF button does focus and meter. Pressing either button starts the IS on a lens so equipped. Gear List
