Heard this guy hovering above the SE Freeway late this afternoon, so grabbed a few shots from the study window and began to dial down the shutter speed once I had the safety shots in camera.

You can go lower with a bit of practice. But I see blur, so good shot :-)

Not the best prop blur but to be fare 300mm with no stabilisation is hard under 1/400sec.

I work in Connecticut near their facility and frequently see them flying overhead. Makes for an easy subject that's more interesting than another 172. I'd like to get more variety, but you make due with what's available.

It's the same as someone in Kerrville, Texas getting a lot of shots of Mooneys or someone in Aurora, Oregon finding a lot of Columbia Helicopters.
