Can anyone give me a good reason to keep PSE 3.0 since I just updated to PSCS 2.0. So far from what I've seen, it has everything that PSE 3.0 has. Is there something I'm missing that is in PSE 3.0 that I would need that isn't in PSCS 2.0?

No

I don't think I'd keep ANY version of Elements if I had the full version of PS ....

Dito, and I didn't like Elements when I tried it, just didn't seem to flow right or something.

I agree with both of you. I was just making certain that I wasn't missing anything. I did like the red eye removal tool with PSE 3.0, but now, PSCS 2.0 has it along with most of what PSE could/would do.

If you're not going to give it to some kid like Frank suggested, then keep it installed on your computer. You never know when a newbie POTN member might ask a PSE3 question that you can answer but don't remember the exact details to without actually going through the process yourself in PSE3 or needing screen shots for. ;)

Photoshop Elements is exactly that...it contains ELEMENTS of Photoshop. Therefore, PSCS2 (which I just got too, by the way) has everything PSE3 has.

Actually the healing tool and the red eye removal tool first appeared in elements before it appeared in cs, and this is usually the way adobe will do things: plugins and filters improvements will be added to cs first, but new tools will be added to elements first... its called a consistent turnover. I havent seen elements 4.0 yet but wouldnt be surprised if it has some features that wont be seen in the ful version till cs3.0.

Imagine ive just said something terribly interesting. Hopefully witty and charming too.
