A little railroad action this afternoon under stormy skies. And man did it rain.

And man did it rain.

But the light was pretty nice!

Cool Pics, I feel bad for that crew in pic 1, Those High noses SUCK to see switch targets from afar

They have other power available on the roster. I think they chose these on that day because they had a long train possibly due to CP getting back up to speed after the strike they had been on. The guy that throws the switches tends to drive over in a car for this move. I have seen him there anytime I have chased this train over from the yard, yet never chatted with him yet.

Both very nice, but the second one is fantastic! I love how the sign plays so well with the locomotives colors. And great framing on all... :)

Thanks, that was a little luck, as it very well could have been a rebuilt F40PH which are green now, as these units were when GE shipped them, but they forget to add something to the paint which caused all but a couple of them to fade to various shades of blue. I wanted to stand back further, but everything behind me was under water from the recent rainfall.
