I am trying to build my Metadata but cannot find a way to enter it excepy in PS Elements 9. I then need to copy the metadata, excluding the RAW metadata, to all photos. In PSE9 I can enter the data but only transfer it to one photo at a time. Is there any way to transfer the data to all photos using Zoombrowser, DPP, or PSE9? Any other software? Is there a way to add it into the G12 camera? I have my name in the camera but want to add Copyright, address, phone #, email, etc. Any suggestions? Please:D

Also interested in this. Empty data fields are shown in DPP when you click for the file info, but no way I know of in DPP to actually populate those fields. There is a Canon utility to add copyright and owner info their dSLR's and comes with the cameras, and thus, that data persists into those EXIF data fields.

I find all these are empty metadata when looking in DPP
[Document Title]

[Copyright info URL]

The EXIF section Copyright and Author are already filled in with my info, so there seems to be a duplicate spot available in the metadata section.

Uploading to Smugmug and other photo sites would be greatly simplified if some of these metadata fields could be pre-populated with keywords and image titles, as those would automatically be displayed following uploading the finished photos to sites.

With ExifToolGUI you can batch edit the Artist, Copyright, Image Description and User Comments fields as well as times and dates and many camera parameters in the EXIF section of the metadata. You can also write large quantities of information to the IPTC section (including keywords) and create an XMP section (if no application hasn't already created it) with personal information.

Tried ExifToolGUI but it did not show any way to reach metadata. I could do a few things wth the photo but that was all. Maybe it is not designed to run in Windows Vista. Any other suggestions?

Reading the metadata and editing parts of it are the only things that ExifTool does. It is in no way a photo editor and cannot in any way change an image. I have used it with XP and with Win 7, so I would be very surprised to learn that it will not work on Vista.

You are correct. I DL a program called FreeOpener to unzip ExifToolGUI. That is the program that I was bringing the photos in. I have to find a program to unzip ExifToolGUI. My apologies.
