Second hand, both these seem to be going around the same price..
Im thinking the 1ds2 is the way to go?

For some reason 5d2 are still hovering around $2300 new in Australia and around $1900 for a lightly used around 1800-1900 5d4, 2x6d, 5d2, 24-70L II, Sigma 35A 1.4, Canon 70-200 2.8L II, 135 2.0L, 430ex2, 600ex-rt

I had a pair of 5d classics, now pair of 5d2s and a 1ds ii. The only real-world benefits of the 1ds II are very quick shutter lag, active-point spot metering, more AF points for those who care about that, and a little faster focus (people say it is because of higher voltage).
