Is this 64 GB SD card compatible with my 1D Mark IV ?

IMAGE: http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/6523/64sd.jpg

I purchased this 64 GB SD card to use in my Canon S100 and I have no problems with it but when I try to use it in my 1D Mark IV body the camera will not record to it and I get the following message. I do have the latest 1D Mark IV firmware update

If I try to format the card in the 1D Mark I get the following message:

The card works perfectly in my S100 and Rebel cameras. Is there something wrong with this card or are 64GB SD cards not compatible with the 1D Mark IV body?

I have never had any problems before reading both CF and SD cards in my !D Mark IV but I have never used such a big card. I am considering buying a 64GB CF card but now I am not sure it will work in my 1D Mark IV body

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions :)

a quick google search shows that the card is not compatible with the 1dmkiv because the 1div doesn't read sdxc cards.

yikes your lcd screen has a lot of scratches!

Thanks for the info so I assume this card is only compatible in my S100 but will a 64GB compact flash card work in my 1D Mark IV body?

What I do is really hard on cameras and the scratches are on the screen protector

SDXC is NOT compatible with 1D MkIV camera.
What you need is SDHC card which is maximum 32Gb size.

If you want larger than 32Gb, then the only option is Compact Flash card.

In other words, SD card slot for up to 32Gb and compact flash slot for up to 128Gb(currently).
