Best CF card speed for 7D?

I did hear one can get a CF card carrier and slide a SD card inside it - I wondered if they would work with a 7D - but not even seen them on the market.
Anybody seen these let alone tried one with a 7D?

Never used one, but all the reports I've read have had one word in common - slow.
