I went out to shoot tonight with my 5d2 and 60D to notice I've got got blue blue, white and red pixels on both cameras. They aren't visible under normal conditions for me (ie much faster than 1s). My 5d2 may still be under refurb warranty but the 60D is definitely out

Is it worth sending these in or doing anything to try to solve the stuck pixels?

They're not stuck, it's common for longer exposures.

Just to pull up a thread from a month ago... I've noticed this on my 1Ds2 on long exposures too. Always on the same spot, a bright red and a blue pixel. Really obvious when that part of the pic is black. Normal shooting is fine, but even on a 1 second exposure they're there.

Turn on long exposure noise reduction. This isn't a defect, it is just part of how the sensor works, some parts will report hot under long exposures, nothing you can do about it really. Long exposure noise reduction will help, and then you may just need to stamp them out in post.

Another trick is to take the lens off, put the camera cap on, go to the menu and turn on manual sensor cleaning, let it sit for about a minute, then shut the camera off and back on, that will cause it to remap the sensor and it will exclude some of the hot spots.

Cameras: 7D2, S100
Lenses: 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM, 18-135 STM, 24-70 f/4L IS USM, 50 f/1.4 USM,70-300L IS USM
Other Stuff: 430 EX II, Luma Labs Loop 3, CamRanger
