LOL, Jean-Guy. I guess that is a good a reason as any to win.:) There is a park in Fresno that has a large Japanese garden full of peacocks and each time I have gone, someone there is strutting his stuff :)
I will have a challenge up soon. I never expected to win so I have to give the new theme some thought.

Congrats Mo and the others getting the nod. Fun topic Jean-Guy.

Funny, I had just taken the photograph of the underside of a jigsaw puzzle for use on a different project, but the uneven lighting on this particular shot didn't work for my project, but I felt it worked for this challenge, well, sort of. I used a reference site that provides hex codes for colors to get the gold going. Also, I passed a wooden spoon under the puzzle to buckle some of the joints, in order to extend the relief a bit. I liked the results, as subtle as they may be.

Congrats, Maureen - that's one beautiful peacock!

I actually thought the two "gluttony" shots by airfrogusmc and Flo would be hard to beat - they each made me feel somewhat queasy!

It was at a Farmers Market, they throw the skins out for the gulls, this was an octopus, and I was enthralled at the tug of war that ensued!
