Seriously considering 1D3 for 5Dc+70-200 2.8L trade

Come on POTN, make me feel good about this trade (my heart likes it) or dissuade me. And goooo

I'd miss the AF of the 1D3 for sure but then again I'd get some sweet new glass, and I know from my experience in using a 5Dc that I really enjoy it. Decisions decisions.

This seems like trading a ferrari for a nicely appointed mercedes. Speed for comfort. As long as you know the limitations of the 5Dc and are comfortable with it, go for it.

I have been using a 1D3/5Dc combo a lot... My shooting partner has a 5Dc which I have borrowed for every solo gig... end up using the 5Dc mostly at the gigs anyhow... I think I will do it
