Could not get closer and have a better frame. This little guy was very timid. Hope you enjoy.

They were taken with a 5d3 and a 100-400. I ETTR and adjusted exposure in post. I didn't do anything to the background. Just came out that way.

This is a beautiful bird Jason. Are these the full frame shots? If they I would suggest cropping a bit and recomping the bird a bit to teh righ of the frame instead of dead centre as in 1& 3.

The bird is a beauty and I really like the shot but that background is out of this world - wow. It's almost dream-like. Very well done Jason.
