Urgently need info on 7D Lens MFA

I just saw a post stating that on can NOT Microfocus Adjust a zoom lens either macro or telephoto on a 7D.
Please tell me this is not true!
I am shocked if this is so! With all the negative press about the poor autofocusing and soft images on the 7D I specifically looked up the manual, and that makes no mention that one can not MFA a zoom lens.
Any help clarifing this would be most grateful - bluntly I will cancell my order, as I am still awaiting delivery.
I have ordered the 70-300 F4-5.6L IS USM to got with it. And it's imperrative to me that I could microfocus zoom lenses.
Any help much appreciated.

Not true. I can MA my zoom lenses on my 7D. Never thought to try the macro though as I rarely use AF with that lens.

Thanks Mike - and much appreciated as it would be a deal breaker to me and having seen 2 people on the latest firmware thread say you can not - you can imagine my concern as I will only be buying the 70-300L IS USM and the 24-70L IS USM.
So if I could not microfocus adjust £3,500 worth of lenses this aint the camera for me!

To clarify, on the 7D, you can MFA only one point in the zoom range on a telephoto. I choose to MFA the long end as that's where I shoot most. You cannot MFA both ends of a zoom. Some pick a happy medium somewhere in between and live with it being very slightly out of focus either side of it.

Thanks for the clarification and it makes sense of the other post on the other thread
"Would be nice to have MFA for zoom lenses on both ends like the 5d3". I stupidly assumed he meant macro and telephoto [Being both ends] rather than the 2 focal lengths at either end of the same zoom [I.e. in my case the 70 or 300].
