I think it's a cute shot, but something about the greens in the background seems off to me. I can't get a grip on what it is though.

agree on the greens, looks too blue, if that makes sense.

also, what this shot with a 50/1.4? it has the telltale ugly bokeh going on, try applying a blur to the background to clean it up.

Not diggin it. It is way over-processed or overexposed.
Her face is too smushed into his jacket.

My main problem with this image is that it is set up to express the gent's anchoring presence (she's leaning into him, smooshing into him); and yet he is in fact leaning a few degrees to the right.

What was the purpose of taking this photograph? To give your friends a "shot" of them when they were married? OK, that's fine. You did a good job. If you were the offical wedding photographer, than you need a little help on subject posing, light source position and image enhancement.

I would have turned the couple so they were facing each other and looking into each other's eyes. This would also tend to slim down the groom. Why show the shoes and wrinkled pants - move in and do a head & shoulders shot his hands touching her face.

Could you have photographed them from the oppsite direction? The backlighting is a big part of the problem.

Programs such as photoshop are a necessity today.

Shooting a wedding is a one time deal. Usually can't retake them. Try my suggestions when you're not preasured using friends or family. Practice, practice, practice.

I was a third shooter, I wasn't doing the posing. I took it down and will be making some revisions
