I shot these guys this weekend too. Mom & Dad are local wedding photographers and great friends of mine. Of course, being photographers, they showed up looking super hot and stylish!

The full set can be seen on my blog (external link).

Agreed X 10.

Lisa, your use of lighting haunts me, in the back of my mind, every time I snap a pic of a person. I am not even kidding. Every time I assess the lighting in a shot, I think of so many pics of yours I have seen. Consistently, your lighting on people is this beautiful soft glow that perfectly illuminates them, in the most flattering way. I have noticed in so many of your pics, the lighting isolates them from a darker background like a perfectly soft, warm spotlight.

Thanks. ;)

That last one... Does anyone watch Fringe? It kind of reminds me of that. But all of these are fantastic. I must agree with plwaren, the lighting is phenomenal. I was going to ask how you do it. If you wouldn't mind sharing a few secrets..

I watch Fringe and I think I see the association with the moving background.

I also like the Post Office shot. A LOT.

Thank you for the nice comments everyone! I've never seen Fringe (or heard of it...lol) but I may have to check it out. :) Lighting is all natural...no reflector in these.

Wow, you truly are a master taking advantage of available light. I could've sworn you used a reflector and that perhaps you put the light above the post office (which I would've been cool with anyway).

The show "Fringe" is truly an acquired taste. I would categorize it as supernatural science fiction. That being said, I watch every episode ;)

You seem pretty busy between taking amazing photographs and being a Mom of 9 children; squeezing TV time must be challenging, LOL!

Great shots! The boy looks adopted : )

I just have to coment on the playground equipment.....you don't see those anymore. I think the lawyers have put an end to those.

An I idea that could be cool is to mount a camera on the merry-go-round and take a shot of your models on the merry-go-round while spinning at a slow shutter speed.....wish I could do it but I can't find the playground equipment anymore : (
