However, shooting with the 50mm f/1.8 which is supposed to be a super sharp lens, I always, always get blurry results. Should I have a faster shutter speed, and put my ISO higher? The 50 f1.8 can be a tricky lens, especially in low light.
My target (I focused and then recomposed at the upper corner of the Hughes book). If the photo is blurry everywhere, try shooting at high speed (say 1/1000... that's when you need plenty of light) If it is still blurry, try tripod, live View, Manual Focus at 10x magnification, mirror lockup and delayed shutter release again at high speed. If you still have a problem, I am afraid the lens may have a problem, or the camera/lens combined tolerances are off. Gerry

Yes, anybody that wants to get C.C., have their photo edited, get feedback on bussiness cards, compare pics from one camera to the other or just be part of one of the fastest moving, friendliest threads. I saw that a bunch of people mentioned that if the post in other threads such as C.C. or specific camera make they never got anything back, so if you have something post it up. I still think since most of us are 60D users or former users it'll remain most of us, but I'm open to seeing how other cameras perform. Plus I think since it has 60D users in the title I think most won't post in here unless they are thinkig of owning, past user or current. I just bought a T1i last night so I don't have to keep switching lenses, and I'm sure I'll want to share some of my photos from it, but don't want to limit myself to what I can share on the 60 thread and don't see a whole lot of movement on the T1i thread. I guess anything goes other than the naked stuff, and if you want us to comment on that post the link with a NSFW. 6D . Gripped 60D . Gripped XSI . Opteka 6.5 . Canon 10-22 . Canon 18-135 . Just common sense stuff and if you're being a idiot I'm sure we'll tell ya. :P 6D . Gripped 60D . Gripped XSI . Opteka 6.5 . Canon 10-22 . Canon 18-135 . Canon 50 1.8 MKII . Canon 24-105 f4 L .
