alright, i'm going to sell my tammy for the 85. time to get serious. hehe

when i come back from a month vacation to Philippines i have these group of girls for their portfolio. They said they're open for all ideas so it can be artistic and exciting. the 85 f1.8 would compliment so much in that job i guess.

I was excited when I bought my first 85 1.8 too! I liked the lens a lot it just wasn't my FL I preferred on a crop body. I want the 85mm FL on the FF though! I'm not great as far as I think but I really enjoy just doing casual candids, car shows/meets, and anything I'm amazed by. The perks of going professional is just getting paid and getting your work out there. You could always go get nicer gear just starve a bit like me...LOL jk jk don't do that!

LOL I'm already starving a bit! Must stop looking at lens sample photos!!!

Off topic but I still haven't been to the Motherland. My younger sister and brothers got to go before me because my family went to the PI when I was still attending college and it was right in the middle of fall quarter. :(

There are many who follow and contribute to this and other 60D threads that own 5D's... Be careful who you chastise... The camera does not make the man...

well I was having fun with a truth - and the snobs it is directed at 'most likely' do not visit this or other 60D threads. Some of the best contributors on this and other 60D threads are 5D & 7D owners, one of which just heartily agreed with my fun post - which is likely an excellent reason he hangs out in the 60D lounge. And it is those snobs who unfortunately are reluctant to realize that the camera did help make the man, which is sad. Sorry if you took some offense - most would see the humor & the truth & its only directed to the snobs. Cheers! ;)

I did not personally take offense nor was I pointing a finger at anyone in particular. Thank you for your input.
