Thanks, everyone! I'm so sunburned right now. lol. I might make it a regular thing to take photos of surfers up and down the coast on my commute home. I had a really good time shooting the competition.

I emailed asking for a media pass to the Producers Showcase I mentioned earlier... I got a reply saying she will check how many passes are left. I'm afraid since I don't have much experience in event/concert photography I may not get a pass. Crossing my fingers that I do!

Btw, there have been some awesome pictures posted on here lately!

Some pictures from the surf competition I went to today. It was held at the local navy base and they only open up the beach once a year for this. The waves were awesome.

These last two make me super jealous. Nice shots and waves! I only got to travel to Alaska and stand in a cold river for 2 weeks this summer...
Came back with 320 lbs of Salmon filets though...

zero all. use High Pass filter for sharpening... i think it's the best sharpening technique/tools.

Thoughts comments ideas? BTW this is the first time I have ever done any serious background work. There was an ugly purple van parked by that building and I tried to remove it.
