that's a beautiful picture Vinz!

Is there an achievement for downing an entire pack of orange Tic Tacs in less than 30 minutes?

decided to print a photo at costco to try them out.

16x20. it looks pretty damn good for 6 bucks. I will take another photo once I frame it.

I have 5 20x30 photos framed, the first 2 I got Mpix the rest I got from Costco. I can't tell the difference. I've read that the Costco ones won't last as long, but I don't really care, I'm probably going to be sick of them in a few years and swap them out anyway. Mpix cost me about $40 Costco $7

Also if you have a Hobby Lobby in your area, every other week the frames are 50% off and they will cut the matt and put it all together for you for really cheap.

here is my latest offering :) as usual interested in your thoughts one and all!

Yeah the 40 is definitely making my 50 1.8 jealous. Although the new 70-200L is getting some love too. But dang, the 40 is so easy to use.

So tomorrow I am going to downtown El Paso, Texas to try some street photography. If you dont know, El Paso sits on the US/Mexico border, and combined with Juarez, makes the largest combined border city in the US. EPs downtown has a lot of 100 plus year old buildings(pretty hard to find in the west) and a lot of first floor shops that reach right into the street.

I have never really shot street stuff so I am excited. Although I am probably gonna stick out like a sore thumb, I am a 6'2" white dude, its hard to be covert! I am gonna rock the 40MM and may even take the battery grip off, to try and draw less attention.

I read somewhere in street photography.... don't bring big cameras and huge lens to be less intimidating. so yes remove you grip.

that is the bigger isnt better approach people are skeered when you whip out your giant tool, you dont want to scare all your subjects away now do you? :P have fun with the street photography, the only advice i have to offer is when doing buildings and stuff get low and take your shot from a near the ground approach it gives a much different point of view and you might just surprise yourself with the results :)

Really nice, Kevin! I've been carrying my gear to and from work in hopes that something I could capture landscape with an interesting sky somewhere along the commute, but the sky has either been really blue and clear, or really foggy/overcast. It's never in between!

So if no one buys my 50... I suppose I could hold onto it and get some macro extension tubes for it to try out macro. Any brand recommendations? Although I'd really love to get that Sigma 17-50... actually have a few things coming up that I'd love to use it for. I've thought about selling my Tokina UWA, but I just can't let it gooooo.

Just missed this on accident haha; and you're welcome Russ, I'm glad it's getting all the loving it needs. Not to mention it's not having a defect issue like the other pancakes I keep hearing about.
