What I don't like with the II is, it only has the same AF system with the 60D and the 3.9fps.

Yes definitely, the II is surely not a sports body so you shouldn't look at what it cannot do but what it can achieve ..a FF sensor with a more sensitive DOF and the IQ it produces along with the better ISO. Have to remember you are comparing a 60D to a older body the 5D II. Technology is always getting better but surely the II is still a very very capable body. In the weddings where will you need the 3.9fps though?

The price for the 85L II from Canon USA :(

Estimated Order Total: $2,181.23 <--has state tax, and shipping I think. It's still $1999 from B&H and Adorama but I don't know if I can make up that amount by Sept. 1. >_<

GO AWAY 135L!

Vinz you are making me laugh (in a good way) this wedding is costing you a fortune :D
The problem with the 5d 2 is that it's a great camera and takes awesome images, but if you get one there will always be the mk 3 on your mind as its a little bit better and you know it won't be long and you'll end up selling and upgrading.
If I was you I would wait and save get the mk3 and then there is no need to upgrade that's what I'm doing, which is hard as I have enough for a mk2 but it won't be long now.
I don't know about the us but prices are dropping in the uk and if I get one from hong kong (grey import) they are £1900, brand new mk2 in the uk is £1500.
Anyway just my thoughts

Zenitar 16MM Fisheye, Samyang 14MM Fisheye. Both wont have the full distortion on a crop, just a slight bend.

Hey guys, I have notice on the viewfinder of the 60D that when I focus with wide lenses, the focus point it doesn't appear sharp/infocus but when using longerlenses is tack sharp. I didn't notice this before until I have been playing with a d90 and that viewfinder is sharper than the 60D. Anyone here have notice that also ?

I have been adjusting the diopter and always is the same, focus point on the viewfinder infocus and sharp, but again using a wide lens the "problem" is there again ? Anyclue and what could be the reason. ??

no thanks. you would have to be sure not to bump on anything. not to mention that is a lot of weight on your belt...carrying a messenger bag seems better to me.

i hope when i finally buy my FF, no one is making cameras anymore. I hate this technology trend even on smartphones and computers. they're killing our bank account.

thanks Marc. you got your 14mm already?
