some great shots lately guys.

I'm in Singapore Airport(Changi) now waiting to board a flight to San Francisco.

What happened Jay-Bird? Hope you will be fine.

Two tears in medial meniscus. Had surgery. Thank you, it's gonna be a long 4-6 weeks, but I should be fine.

[QUOTE=kev83202;15050302]Thanks Dr. It was at the bottom of Little Cottonwood, I've seen goats there a lot. Look at my scribble on the map. The turn off is on little cottonwood road right before it merges with Wasatch blvd, if you haven't been there before there is a paved nature path.[QUOTE]

Sweet! I'm actually going there at 6:30 for a photo group meet up. I'll be going a bit earlier, for some mooose and maybe some goats now. You should come. It'll be the second park and ride on the left at 6:30.
Here's one from tonight.

Here's an eggzample of why I <3 my campus. Plane photo-ops galore. I took about 40 today & they are stunning. This is a junk pic of course ;) Gonna be a minute until I figure out a watermark & subsequently figure out hosting for the worthy images.

Thank you!

So is anyone interested in the new Sigma 35MM 1.4? I am really digging my 40MM 2.8, and think this would be a great upgrade. I know Sigma has QC issues, so I guess I will wait and see.

IMAGE: http://www.canonrumors.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Sigma-35mm-f1.4-DG-HSM-lens.jpeg

This Art lens provides photographers with a state-of-the-art alternative to the more conventional 50mm. This lens’ axial chromatic aberration is minimized, which renders a cool and smooth out-of-focus image. At low apertures, it can perform like a wide-angle lens; when opened up to F1.4, it will provide background bokeh and make the subject pop like a mid-range telephoto lens.

I saw this along with Canon making the new rumored EF 400mm f/4 IS II...I'm so anxious I can't wait til next year for the new lineup! I'm quite interested in the Sigma 35mm and see how it can hold versus the famed Canon 35mm 1.4L as well. For now I still need to get my butt to go out and do some more photography. Got to use the 24-105 over the weekend and was pretty surprised at how sharp the lens was. Of course, I also couldn't wait to go back to shooting at f/1.2. LOL

I'm going to be getting the 35mm Sigma. Currently have the Samyang 35mm and while it is good, I'm just not a manual focus guy.

The Sigma has a feature now where you can hook it up to your computer and calibrate it for front and back focus. Pretty slick feature!

Really now? Self calibration will probably be a good selling point too no more trips to Sigma! :D
