Vix don't start with the 85l my bank won't take it haha.
Vinz what were you doing that you had to stop down to f11 to get a sharp shot with the 24-105 ? That sounds very odd.

The tax is bit different in the uk I've got my own business and we pay tax at the end of the year here, I don't think there will be a rebate this year.

Vinz just looked at that shot I'm only on iPad so can't really tell, how come you were at iso 800. I do find it takes time to suss out a lens so as to get the best from it.

Vinz, good luck! Hopefully this one lasts more than a couple months :P lol jk

I'm also afraid to click that link Vix! lol. Pauly I think you would do that bad boy justice though.

My ideal setup would probably be the 24L, Pancake, 85L, 24-105L, 70-200L. I'm part of the way there. Maybe in time...

No worries Maria, I do believe it took me in a span of over 2-3 years to get what I have so ..it's definitely not easy to shell out all at once in an ideal world. I just work work like a good little Asian ..would rather get into a studio profession but I can't even get that with my tight living quarters so I threw that idea away til I buy my home with my partner but until then...snap snap spend snap snap. xD

how come you were at iso 800.

because I was at F11 indoor and not using studio lighting, just the 430ex ii with a diffuser.

also, i can only have neither one of them so i choose the 70-200 F4IS for extra sharpness and reach. don't mind the wide part of the 24 coz i don't want to shoot people below 50mm FL to avoid distortion.

very nice.

with studio lighting yes. but i don't bring my studio lighting everytime.

I also notice sharpness is a lot better with studio lighting even at 2.8 on my former sigma 17-50.

Hehe at good little Asian. I'm most def working like a good Filipino to get there one day... Until then I'm loving what I have, and may be able to get the 24-105 in my arsenal and my 85 calibrated sooner than I thought.. Crossing fingers!
