I sure did, I'm also an Amazon Prime member, so got it in 2 days but took a week finally to get it open and practice with it. Sucks cause all I do is work! Need more photography time.

Alright. Thought so. It's $42.95 on Amazon and I have Prime so free two day shipping.

I think I'm going to wait a bit. I plan to buy a few gifts through Amazon so I think I'll just do it in one purchase.

I got my canvas prints from Gallerydirect.com, about every other week they have a sale for 75% off gallery wraps. The thing I like about them is you can get pretty much any size, you don't have to work with the standard 20x30, 36 x 48, ext. I am going to order a 40x60 when the sale comes again it will cost $92 and free shipping.

biggest thing I learned was to be careful with the rear element. LOL

other than that, keep the shutter speed a bit high since it's a lot heavier than some primes so I try to keep up above 1/250; outside on a good day 1/800 if anything cause so much light can get sucked in!! Shootin at f/1.2 is awesome but if you are shooting people just try to make sure they don't move much cause the razor thin DOF will get yah. snap away..

I debated getting a flip-it for a while, but ended up with the omni-bounce for those occasions when I couldn't just bounce off of a bare wall/ceiling. methinks I'll have to reconsider...

and, since i'm finally back out of lurk mode (I've been checking in both 60D threads for over a year now, but mostly lurk and learn) if felt a contribution was in order. also gives me a chance to show off my new site :D Here are a few shots from what's been keeping me so busy. On top of my normal 9-5 (or 9-7ish, to be accurate) I've been shooting for a local club every weekend. Here's a few from this past weekend. the rest of the set here: http://www.antaresphotography.net/photos/raw-chattanooga/ (external link)

I have one for general use but the demb flip it is looking great for indoor shots when I'm with family and friends.

Even if you sold off the 60D to upgrade? :(

I could swing it, but I'm a little afraid to spend the money. I'm kind of emotionally attached to my 60d as well. It was my first big boy camera. Hopefully InfiniteGarage.com blows up for me over the next year and I could get the 6d.

HaHa! I'll see how I like it, It's a possibility I'll sell the 60D in 6 months and get the 6D. I'd like to have both :-) Of course I could always change my mind in a week and send the NEX back.....I could be like Vinz!
