It's the 1.14L I haven't seen before. No big deal, just an observation.

Try the Black if you get a chance it's nice.

Pulled the trigger on a Canon 17-55 2.8 .I think this one is a keeper. I was debating between this and the sigma 17-50 bu in my mind I know I would be wondering what would the canon have been like. Plus I paid more for new over used but I need the piece of mind of a warranty just in case something happened.. I see tons for sale on this forum I guess a lot of people moving to full frame. But I hope this lens doesn't disappoint.Should be here by tomorrow can't wait

Awesome. Mine needed a trip to Canon for a front focus issue, but that seems to be the exception and after they fixed it it has been great since! I use a Hoya EVO filter on mine as rumors say it helps with keeping dust from getting behind the front element.

It is very sharp with quick AF (bad light, wide open, diffused flash, yes it was moving):

Congrats on the 17-55 I really love that lens. I wish I would have spent the extra money to get the canon.

Going through some pictures from the summer, finding a lot that I never had time to do PP on.

It's actually a street lamb. Behind me is a lake with some grass and trees growing out of it and I was actually taking pictures of it. As I was walking I just happened to look up the hill and the tree blocked that light and a light bulb went off in my head. lol Thanks for the compliment, I do love that shot.

Last night was so weird. The fog went from so dense that visibility was zero to crystal clear in about 30 minutes. I expected it to be foggy all night and I have lots of time to set up and do shots but it became apparent pretty quickly that I was going to have to hurry to get my shots.

When I started walking towards this culvert it was actually much foggier, but by the time I got there it had cleared quite a bit.
