I was thinking that too. The new folks must be wondering wtf. Now I have to decide between cleaning products and liquor...I guess I'll do both as long as I don't get confused and drink the wrong one! :D

Fun shots! I don't have a Christmas tree :( Thought about getting a fake one but there is no room at my place to store it during the offseason. Hopefully I'll be able to get some during Christmas.

CJ, you play ball? We should play some pickup when I'm in town! (give me a few months though, just started going to the gym and need to get back in shape. lol)

I don't have a Christmas tree up either. :( and yep, played all my life since I was 4. I'd be down. We can shoot and play. :D

The theme of the thread right now (we started this last Christmas I think) is to find any cleaning product in your home and have a Christmas type theme behind as the background and post them here. The idea boomed with a lot of us old 60D'ers! I'll get a new one as soon as I get home and try to find something Christmas related. xD

Really weird theme but everyone's doing such a good job making it look natural.

I think that's what made it fun for us, everyone's got cleaning products and in the spirit, and it got pretty fun because almost everyone participated!

EDIT: Thought this was hilarious and gotta share, anyone else see onion bokeh?

a really good deal, especially if you are looking for an emergency back-up body:

T4i + 18-135 STM + 40 STM = $899 @ B&H (+ a 55-250 for only $100 more!)

the 18-135 STM 'alone' costs around $520

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …&O=productlist&sku=905049 (external link)

or sell these separately and make a lovely profit...

Damn, I'm tempted to get one as a spare at that price... I don't know how many times I've almost lost that little SD reader in my camera bag, lol.

CJCMarquez, I was joking about bringing it up again, lol, my shot was an old one from last year. I think it started as people sharing shots of cleaning products and other items with small text to test/show off lens sharpness.
It's a new year, now I'm going to have to step it up! I might do the liquor bottle this time, never got around to one of those last year. :)

I'm still surprised that none of you guys are in on the new MySpace thing. If you haven't checked out the preview yet, got to

http://new.myspace.com (external link)

It seems like it could end up being pretty cool for photographers, clean hi-res photos. Tools and setting are a little wonky still, but it's a million times better than the old one and photos look WAY better than Facebook, Max res is 1920x1280 I think. I have my page setup, but can't share with anyone unless they've been invited to the beta.
