LOL ..you guys are too funny, so I went out today and bought myself a miniature tree cause my family doesn't celebrate Christmas really. I'm gonna be festive in my room at least!

i have a little tree in my house. it's just me now, so a 4 foot tree made so much more sense. i can just grab it after holidays and tuck it in the basement until next year.

Merry Christmas, Lisa!!!!

Nice one Marc. The hotspots in the face and the weird shadow in her left shoulder bothers me a little.

Here's another one from the party. The proud son and mom.

Still pondering how a body is dust resistant when the lenses are interchangeable, unless it has some kind of system behind the lens that seals it when you change them out.

Yes, the 12-50mm lens that came with the body is one (so far) lens that is weather sealed. It has internal zoom motor and it has a rubber seal on the mount side so when you mount it on the body it forms a water/dust proof connection.

It is not a good idea to change the lenses in the dusty/rainy environment of course; but once the lens is on it is splash/dust proof.

Love this shot, Marc! For some reason I like her much more than windex... but it's just me.

well noted vinny! the hotspots arent blown out on my ips monitor and they are the product of the light hitting her face

ah ya those shadows bothered me as well just way too much to think about when editing D=

marc i have a quick trick with hotspots... create a new layer, sample a color close to the hotspot using eye dropper tool. set your brush to 20% or less opacity and brush on the hotspots. works for me.
