17-40 has been my go-to lately. It's a great lens for the price.

And some said its sharper than the 24-105 brother.

well I wouldn't say you gotta wait, but you probably won't get maybe $120-130 cause it's used and still on sale for $150 new? Of course if you need the cash back faster, gotta do what you gotta do! Unfortunately I gotta sell my antique 50mm 1.8 MK I ...my tire developed some kind of bulge and the tires on my car cost around $180 a pop so ..SADDDDDDDDDDDDDDD face.

Thanks Vinz. Did another search in the macro section and I may get Polaroid AF extension tubes.

Vinz you will find all l glass is sharp that's what you pay the money for, I use my 24-105 in the studio and its super sharp, yesterday I shot a fair bit with my 100l and man that is a sharp lens.
Thing is though most lenses when you get to f8 to f16 are pretty dam sharp and when you make prints I doubt you can tell a great deal od difference.

No difference in the exposure system, except for what switches what. Actually, one thing I hate about the 5Dc is that the ISO setting isn't displayed on the LCD unless you press the ISO button.

I just picked up some tricks about exposure compensation from my photog class... prob the only useful thing I learned this semester. lol. I imagine I probably would have saved money and learned it from a Scott Kelby book or some other photog book sooner or later, but aw well.
