would this be a good card for my 60d? everyone I am talking to is saying sandisk extreme 30mb/s but this is sandisk ultra 30mb/s. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …A_SDHC_UHS_I_30MB_S_.html (external link)
/ or would this be better? http://www.bhphotovideo.com …6GB_SDHC_Memory_Card.html (external link) there is only a 4 buck difference in price so that is not an issue. so while I am in question mode how about the difference between these? http://www.bhphotovideo.com …cular_Polarizing_Pro.html (external link) or http://www.bhphotovideo.com …rcular_Polarizer_HMC.html (external link) or http://www.bhphotovideo.com …rcular_Polarizing_HD.html (external link) . the price of them are close enough to not make a difference between them just looking for which one will give best quality not too concerned with which one is most durrable.

I purchased two SanDisk Extreme 45MB/s 16 gig cards a while back but I can't keep up with the changes in memory. The prices go up and down depending on the nearest holiday and new stuff comes out weekly, it seems. Amazon doesn't help matters by posting the wrong photos for the cards.

I'm sorry I'm not being very helpful but I didn't want you to think you are being ignored. I will say this, coming from a 10 MP G12, I wasn't prepared for the larger sizes of the 18MP files from the 60D and I will buy 32 GB cards in the future.

If im not mistaken, extreme is 45mb/s and ultra is 30mb/s i think.. 60d can only maximise 30mb/s but to transfer to your computer it will utilize the 45mb/s..

Really up to you but i opted for the 45mb/s cause as you said, there is only very little price difference..

Get rid of the kit lens, K. The nifty-250 is a far superior lens. But, of course you should move on to better glass. If I had to number which to sell first...the 18-135 would be first to offload.

Well, with the 17-55 2.8 and the 70-300L I think I've kind of moved on ;)

Interstingly, the 70-300 I believe has a lower magnification factor than the 55-250. I have gotten some incredible poor mans macro shots with my 55-250, and due to some interesting price matching and Reward Zone certs I basically paid about $50 for it during the huge sale last spring.

I rarely touch the 50 1.4 either as the 17-55 usually covers that need too, but it is nice to have a super fast prime at times.

Is this with a lens with IS or did you get a pic that sharp at 1/13 with no IS?

Happy fourth everyone! I think since it's going to turn into it anyway todays theme should be flags and fireworks. I'll get mine posted here soon.

Sweet eagle! I'm going to Jellystone this weekend so hopefully I can get some bear or eagle. Speaking of, does anyone know of a site that tracks bear sightings for this year? I found a app for my phone, but because of limted service there and not many people using it the info isn't very accurate. If you know of a site please send me the link. Anyhow, here are some of my favs from last night.

That sucks dude, my parent's neighbors bought roosters (not a farm). Cartoons don't teach you that they carry on all day long, not just early am.

Great shots D! I really wanted to get fireworks shots this year as Pittsburgh puts on one of the best shows, but the recluse in me would rather sit at home by a fire and avoid hours worth of traffic.
