JcPenney 28mm 2.8 m42

Took this yesterday on campus since I had some time to kill. Shot in Av at 2.8. The first picture is resized with no other PP.

I think the lens has some front focus issues. I'd return it!

yeah, it does look that way. Sadly, I can't return it. It's a $10 manual lens from way back in the day.

I think a lot of retailers put their name on camera gear back in the 70's and 80's. My dad a couple of K-Mart branded M42 lenses back then. Who knows who made it but these were at least made in Japan.

So that makes it user error then How does the lens look if focussed corectly

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that it's me. I'll just have to keep shooting with it until I figure it out.
