Your Two 'Most Contrasting' Nature/Landscape Photos

Just thought it might be a fun thread to follow. Post two of your photos that are the most contrasting one another, in whichever context you see fit.

They may be visually similar but thematically different, or vice versa; or maybe two photos that have a common element that is portrayed at its two extremes, etc etc etc.

Here are my first entries. I picked these because they contain similar framing, horizon at the top of the frame looking down, and have the same overall subject, a sunset, but are tonally and physically very different.

Yea, that last shot looks awesome! I really like that you're looking through the barbed wire, it adds so much more depth and meaning to the image.

I'd hate to be on a tiny boat out there on day 1, and the industrial ship vs the sailboat really compliment the mood of the weather in their respective shots!
