Haven't experimented yet, but just reading the manual has me overwhelmed. I think I'm going to like this camera.
I mean theres a setting to detect a smile, or a wink, or even a new face in a group! Not to mention panoramic stitching! Holy cow.

You go through a process of loading the chdk firmware to a sd card and once the sd card with the chdk software loaded on to it is inserted in the camera it will load a different interface (can be slightly confusing at the start) which allows you to override the maximum shutter speed from 15 seconds to longer than a minute, set custom iso levels, reduce minimum shutter speed from 1/3200 to 1/500,000!,shoot in RAW and quite a few other things.
