First portrait shoot

My girlfriend was nice enough to pose me for a while yesterday. Portraits are something where I really want to get better so for that reason comments and especially criticism are mostly welcome! :) There were lots of other shots but these were maybe the ones that I was the most pleased with.

#1 is ok; the extra long stray hair going across kills it for me.
#2 would've worked better if she was looking at the camera. As it is, her profile is clashing with an overexposed background.
#3 had the potential of a great photo but her expression is offputting. The framing and subject focus are great, however.

^ Exactly what AJ said. One other thing is her outfit. Polka dots tend not to show up well in pictures. Try to go with a solid colored shirt next time. Maybe brown or something. It should go well with her hair IMO.
