Hi, My T3i/600D for some reason has decided not to write RAW files to my card. I have tried two cards in my 1Ds Mk II and no problems, when I try with the 600D it will write the Jpegs and seems to write RAW because I can look at the pics on camera even if I just shoot a RAW image in camera I can see it on camera back screen but when I try to transfer to computer the RAW files are just a grey square with an X across them. I have tried L/R, Canon DPP and have tried computer and laptop with same result. I have tried updating the firmware also.
Reset the camera settings twice but no joy.
Any advice please.
Thanks
Russ

Many Thanks,
Russell.

What you see on the camera back is a special jpg and it has little bearing on the RAW image existence.

First thing I would try is get any images off the cards as best you can, if you want them. Then do a low level format, in-camera with the 600D. Canon doesn't recommend moving cards between differing camera models without doing a low level format in the camera where the card is to be used. I'm not certain this is your issue, but make sure you are doing things correctly and then retest.

Are you using the latest DPP? A new version was posted about a month back as I recall. I think it was version 3.11.26.0.
