I settled on photographing a different location from my sunrise location. I normally would have photographed this at the shore, but I felt the trees would be more in the way. I found a large rock and climbed up (not a easy thing in my condition) and took this.

Since it was a bit breezy at times, I had to use my CP to slow down the shutter speed.

Yosemite is on my to-visit list someday. That's a great picture and I'd be happy to get one half as good. Only thing with me I'm better with sunsets as I don't like to get up early, haha.

I've got one of those flickr (external link) accounts, too! I'd list my gear, but it's nothing exciting.

Me too, I don't generally do mornings. I had to get up at 1am to get there for sunrise. Totally worth it! :D

Me too! Although I do at times get out before sunrise for photographs, sunsets are more in tune with my mojo.

Best, Bruce
