My friends niece just got to the country last week from Ireland, she's teaching a summer class then moving to Nashville to pursue music. I met her Saturday morning and asked if she had time before she left for Maine (to teach for the summer) for a sitting, and if she'd be interested. She was flattered, nervous and agreed, but only had an hour or so last night as she left this morning.

This was one of the last shots of the shoot, most of them are with her guitar, as she's a singer / songwriter. She told me she's not very confident with how she looks in photos, but felt this one really represented her well, and then sat with me for a little bit of creative post processing.

I'll post more when I get them edited, comment / critique / question is always welcomed and appreciated.

Pretty girl

The color cast doesn't do it for me though.

I like to use the key light on the same side as the woman's hair part so that there is no shadow cast on the face.

Agree with everyone on the color cast. Doesn't seem to work.

Her eyes look strange to me. Maybe her left eye is wandering. If that is the case you can fix it in post processing. If you turn on image editing I'm sure someone will have a go at it.
